NUPRC, NMDPRA Commit to Closer Collaboration to Drive Investments, Regulatory Harmony in Oil and Gas Sector

The Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission (NUPRC) and the Nigerian Midstream and Downstream Petroleum Regulatory Authority (NMDPRA) have pledged deeper cooperation to streamline regulation, resolve overlapping issues, and attract greater investment into Nigeria’s oil and gas industry.

The commitment was sealed during a high-level meeting at NUPRC headquarters in Abuja on Thursday, where both agencies agreed to establish dedicated liaison teams and institute quarterly joint meetings to proactively address regulatory challenges
