Mele Kyari Breaks Silence on EFCC Investigation: 'I Served with the Fear of God'

Mele Kyari, the former Group Managing Director (GMD) of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation Limited (NNPCL), has broken his silence following claims that he was in the custody of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

In a statement released, Kyari vehemently denied the reports, calling them a "clear mischief" aimed at achieving unknown objectives. 

He explained that he was simply taking a well-deserved rest after the dissolution of the NNPCL's management and board.
