SUSPECTED STOLEN TESLA CRASHES ON SAN DIEGO BOARDWALK, WOMAN CRITICALLY INJURED
A man driving a suspected stolen blue Tesla reportedly drove onto the boardwalk in Pacific Beach, San Diego, on Monday afternoon, striking a 25-year-old woman near Thomas and Reed Avenues. ????????
According to San Diego police, the woman was rushed to the hospital in critical condition.
Several beachgoers witnessed the Tesla speeding onto the boardwalk. One man, Alex Srour, said he was riding his bike when the vehicle suddenly came rushing toward him.
“I was in the middle of the path and I launched myself off my bike.”
Srour was wearing Meta smart glasses at the time and captured footage of the suspect fleeing. He and other witnesses reportedly followed the man and eventually caught up with him.
Police have since arrested the suspect, according to the San Diego Police Department.
A busy boardwalk, a speeding Tesla and people scrambling for safety — this could have ended even worse. ???? What do you think?
