Katsina Partners with NADF and Others to Launch Smart Demo Farm at Sabke Dam

The Nigeria Agribusiness Development Fund (NADF) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Katsina State Government, OCP Africa, The Infrastructure Bank, and the Sokoto Rima River Basin Development Authority (SRRBDA) to develop a 50 hectare demonstration farm at Sabke Dam in Katsina.

Speaking on the initiative, NADF Executive Secretary Mohammed Ibrahim said the project will serve as a model for year round farming, showcasing best practices from soil preparation to harvest, including improved seed use, fertilizer blending based on soil needs, and marketing strategies.
