Jon Bon Jovi’s JBJ Soul Kitchen Provides Free Meals
In 2011, Jon Bon Jovi and his wife, Dorothea Hurley, founded JBJ Soul Kitchen with the mission of offering meals to anyone, regardless of their financial situation.
At these community-focused restaurants, patrons can either pay a suggested donation of about $20 or volunteer an hour of their time to receive a three course meal.
With four permanent locations in New Jersey, plus a temporary pop-up in Toms River, JBJ Soul Kitchen has served more than 208,000 meals to those in need.
