Harrison Gwamnishu Resigns as SSA to Delta State Governor 

Activist Harrison Gwamnishu has officially resigned from his position as Senior Special Assistant (SSA) on Civil Society and Youth Mobilization to the Delta State Governor, citing the increasing insecurity in the state.

In a formal letter addressed to the Governor, Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori, Gwamnishu stated that the decision was made due to the rising security challenges affecting the state. 

The resignation, dated April 25, 2025, was also addressed to Hon. Dr. Emu Kingsley, the Secretary to the Government of Delta State.
