INEC Chairman Highlights PDP’s Inconsistencies Over National Secretary Position

INEC Chairman Mahmood Yakubu has called attention to the back-and-forth within the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) regarding its National Secretary.

Yakubu explained that over the past few months, the electoral body has received several conflicting communications from the party.

“Initially, we were informed that Mr. Sunday Udeh-Okoye was the secretary. Later, the party notified us that it was Samuel Anyanwu. Not long after, they wrote again, naming Mr. Setonji Koshoedo as the secretary. Shortly after that, they returned to Anyanwu,” Yakubu stated.

He further revealed that the most recent letter from the PDP did not list a secretary at all and was signed solely by the party chairman, to which INEC has already responded.
