Historic City Boy Movement Ogun State Summit Concludes with Landmark Empowerment Initiatives
The highly anticipated City Boy Movement Ogun State Summit has successfully concluded, leaving a lasting impact on the lives of young Nigerians. The event attracted numerous dignitaries, including the Minister of Information, the Minister of Youth @ayowisdom_, the King of Boys @STinubu, the SSA to the President on Digital Strategy & Communication @otegaogra, and the Chief of Staff to the Governor of Ogun State. Their presence underscored the importance of the summit and its focus on youth empowerment.
Key highlights of the summit included significant empowerment initiatives aimed at fostering economic growth among young entrepreneurs. A total of N500,000 grants were awarded to 50 medium-scale businesses, while 100 small-scale businesses received N200,000 each in support. This financial assistance is expected to help these businesses thrive and create more job opportunities within the community.
In addition to the grants, the summit also featured scholarship awards and Tech Innovation Grants for deserving young Nigerians. These initiatives are designed to encourage education and innovation, providing young individuals with the resources they need to succeed in their chosen fields.
