DMO Boss Urges States to Prioritize PPP Over Excessive Borrowing for Infrastructure
The Director General of the Debt Management Office (DMO), Patience Oniha, has advised state governments to reduce their reliance on loans for financing infrastructure projects.
Speaking on fiscal responsibility, Oniha stressed that states should begin to embrace Public Private Partnerships (PPP) as a more sustainable approach to funding development.
