Governor Sim Fubara Invites Rivers Assembly Speaker for Budget Presentation Meeting

Rivers State Governor, Sim Fubara, has extended an invitation to the Speaker of the Rivers State House of Assembly, Hon. Martins Amaewhule, for a crucial meeting scheduled for Monday, March 10, 2025.

 The meeting is set to discuss key legislative and governance matters, including the presentation of the state's budget.

In a letter signed by the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Tammy Danagogo, the governor outlined several pressing issues that need to be addressed. These include providing a befitting venue for the Assembly's sittings, settling all outstanding remunerations and allowances owed to House members, and finalizing preparations for the presentation of the 2025 state budget.

Additionally, the meeting will serve as a platform to deliberate on any other critical matters necessary for the effective administration of the state.
