FG to Offer Over 750 Seized Homes to Low and Middle-Income Nigerians Under Renewed Hope Scheme

The Federal Government is set to allocate a housing estate comprising 753 duplexes previously linked to ex-Central Bank Governor Godwin Emefiele to Nigerians in the low and middle-income brackets.

According to Badamasi Haiba, the Director of Press and Public Relations at the Ministry of Housing and Urban Development, this move is in line with President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda aimed at promoting affordable homeownership across all socioeconomic groups.

Haiba explained that while construction on the estate is ongoing, the government will first assess the buildings for structural safety and durability before rolling out the distribution and sale process.
