Football superstar Cristiano Ronaldo has explained why he has yet to marry his longtime partner, Georgina Rodriguez, despite their eight-year relationship.

In a recent interview, the 40-year-old revealed that marriage will happen when they "get that click." He emphasized that their bond is strong, but they are waiting for the right moment.

Rodriguez, 31, previously shared on her Netflix reality show I Am Georgina that her friends often tease her about marriage. However, she admitted the decision is ultimately up to Ronaldo.

The couple, who have been together since 2016, share two daughters—Alana (7) and Bella (2)—while Rodriguez also helps raise Ronaldo’s three other children.

Despite speculation, Ronaldo remains confident about their future. “I always tell her, when we get that click. It could be in a year, six months, or even a month. I’m 1,000% sure it will happen,” he said.
