Chief Tom Irehovbude Defects to APC, Cites Governor Okpebholo's Leadership as Key Factor
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Edo State has suffered a significant loss with the defection of Chief Tom Irehovbude to the All Progressives Congress (APC).
A well-known grassroots mobilizer from Esan West, Chief Irehovbude led a large group of PDP supporters in joining the ruling party.
During his address to the crowd, Irehovbude emphasized the transformative leadership of Governor Monday Okpebholo as a major influence on his decision. “I am joining the APC because I have seen the meaningful developments Sen. Monday Okpebholo is driving, bringing governance closer to the people,” he remarked. “I believe in effective leadership, and I am eager to contribute to this vision.”
