Akpabio Heads to Supreme Court Over Appeal Court Ruling on Natasha Akpoti’s Suspension

Senate President Godswill Akpabio has filed a notice of appeal at the Supreme Court, challenging a ruling of the Court of Appeal in a case involving Natasha Akpoti Uduaghan, the senator representing Kogi Central.

The appeal is against the judgment delivered on November 28 by the Abuja Division of the Court of Appeal in suit number CA/ABJ/CV/1107/2025. The appellate court had nullified the suspension of Akpoti-Uduaghan by the Akpabio led Senate, ruling in her favour.
