APC Slams El-Rufai, Accuses Him of Betrayal Over SDP Endorsement

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has fired back at former Kaduna State governor, Nasir El-Rufai, accusing him of betrayal and political desperation following his recent endorsement of the Social Democratic Party (SDP).

In a statement released by Felix Morka, the APC National Publicity Secretary, the party alleged that El-Rufai is bitter over his failure to secure a ministerial appointment under President Tinubu's administration.

“El-Rufai appears traumatized by his failure to land a ministerial position. Nursing a bruised ego, he now lashes out at the platform on which he rode to political prominence,” the statement read.

The APC described El-Rufai’s appeal to opposition figures to align with him under the SDP as an attempt to lure people into a political movement driven by selfishness, vindictiveness, and delusions of grandeur.
