APC Names Bisi Akande Reconciliation Chairman, Dissolves Enugu Exco, and Disqualifies Two Governorship Aspirants

The All Progressives Congress (APC) National Working Committee (NWC) has appointed Bisi Akande, the party’s pioneer National Chairman, as the new Chairman of the National Reconciliation Committee.

In the resolutions reached at its 179th NWC meeting, led by National Chairman Nentawe Yilwatda, the committee also dissolved the APC Enugu State Executive Committee with immediate effect.

Additionally, the NWC disqualified Engr. Ojo Kayode and Mrs. Abimbola Olajumoke Olawumi from participating in the Ekiti governorship primaries, while Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji and Mrs. Atinuke Oluremi Omolayo were cleared to contest.
