Air Transport Union to Halt Operations Nationwide from August 11

The National Union of Air Transport Employees (NUATE) has announced plans to withdraw its services across all airports in the country. 

In a notice issued to members, the union directed airport workers to suspend all operations starting Monday, August 11, 2025, at 5:00 a.m. 

The move is expected to disrupt flight activities nationwide, though NUATE has not yet disclosed if negotiations are underway to avert the action
