Reality TV star and businesswoman Zari The Boss Lady has sparked controversy online after sharing her views on relationships, independence and financial responsibility.

During a TikTok session, the Ugandan socialite argued that women whose partners prevent them from working but fail to financially support them should consider accepting help from elsewhere.

According to Zari, some men expect their partners to depend entirely on them while simultaneously refusing to provide for their basic needs, leaving the women financially vulnerable.

She maintained that if another person is willing to offer such a woman emotional and financial support, she should not feel guilty about accepting it.

Zari went even further, suggesting that being unfaithful to a partner who neither provides for nor takes care of the relationship should not necessarily be considered cheating, describing it instead as “self-defence.”

Her comments have since triggered mixed reactions online, with social media users debating whether her stance is justified or simply promotes infidelity.
