Controversial political analyst and former presidential aide, Reno Omokri, has opened up on why he no longer supports Peter Obi, despite initially promoting him.

Omokri, who was once vocal in advocating for the Labour Party presidential candidate, claimed he spent millions of naira to push Obi’s campaign but later withdrew his support due to personal and political reasons.

In his latest revelation, Omokri stated that his disillusionment with Obi stemmed from what he described as "dishonesty, hypocrisy, and the toxic behavior of his supporters."

"I spent millions of my own money promoting Peter Obi, but I later realized he was not the leader Nigeria needed," Omokri claimed.
