VeryDarkMan Leads Schoolchildren Protest to FCT Minister’s Gate Over Teachers’ Strike

Activist and social media figure Martins Vincent Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan (VDM), staged a dramatic protest at the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Minister’s gate in Abuja. 

To highlight the ongoing school teachers strike, VDM gathered children dressed in their school uniforms, transforming the entrance into an impromptu open-air classroom.

 He reportedly taught them letters of the alphabet like “S for Suegbe, T for Tinubu, W for Wike” as a satirical call-out to authorities.

The strike, which began on March 24, 2025, has kept FCT primary schools closed for over 90 days as teachers demand implementation of the ₦70,000 minimum wage by Area Council Chairmen  . VDM’s protest aims to shame the FCT government and remind officials including Minister Nyesom Wike of their commitment to public education
