US General Warns of Islamist Expansion Toward West Africa’s Coast
General Michael Langley, head of the United States Africa Command, has cautioned that Islamist groups are attempting to expand their operations to West Africa’s coastal regions.
According to him, such a move would enable the groups to increase their revenues through activities such as human trafficking, arms trading, and smuggling.
