UNIZIK VC Promises Unpaid Staff Will Receive First Salary Before Christmas

The newly appointed Vice Chancellor of Nnamdi Azikiwe University (UNIZIK), Awka, Prof. Bond Anyaehie, has given fresh assurance to staff members who were employed since 2019 but have not received any salary.

Prof. Anyaehie stated that all affected workers will receive their first payment before Christmas, marking a significant step toward resolving years of frustration and financial hardship faced by the employees.

He noted that the university has taken concrete steps to address administrative delays and ensure fairness in its payment system.
