Umahi Urges South East to Back Tinubu's Full Tenure, Eyes Future Leadership

Minister of Works, David Umahi, has called on the South East region to continue supporting President Bola Tinubu, stressing the importance of allowing him to complete his full eight-year tenure.

According to Umahi, national leadership should be a collective effort, with every region taking its turn.

 He assured that the South East will eventually take the lead, but noted that 2027 is not the time.

“We must show support to other regions now, and trust that when the time is right, they will support us too. With God’s help, our turn will come but not in 2027,” he stated.
