Trump Criticizes Smithsonian’s Slavery Exhibits, Threatens Funding Cuts

Former U.S. President Donald Trump has once again taken aim at the Smithsonian Institution, accusing it of placing too much emphasis on America’s history of slavery. 

Writing on Truth Social, Trump argued that the museum complex should highlight the nation’s successes and future opportunities instead.

He further disclosed that he had instructed lawyers to begin a review of the Smithsonian, similar to the scrutiny applied to colleges and universities.
