Truck Falls Off Pen Cinema Bridge in Lagos

A fully-loaded truck (GGE 624 YJ) lost control while crossing the Pen Cinema Bridge in Lagos, plummeting onto two commercial Volkswagen buses parked below.

 Fortunately, the buses were empty at the time of the incident.

According to the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA), the truck driver suffered serious fractures to both hands.

 LASTMA officials quickly rescued the driver and handed him over to the Elere Police before he was transported to General Hospital, Ile-Epo, for urgent medical attention.
