Tragedy Strikes Governor Namadi as He Loses Son Just a Day After Mother's Passing

Jigawa State Governor Mallam Umar Namadi is mourning the loss of his 24-year-old son, Abdulwahab Umar Namadi, who tragically died in a road accident just a day after the passing of his mother. 

A statement from the governor's spokesperson, Hamisu Gumel, confirmed the heartbreaking news, stating that the accident occurred along the Dutse-Kafin-Hausa Road on Thursday, December 26, 2024. 

In the statement, the governor expressed profound sorrow: "To Allah belongs that which He has taken, and to Him belongs that which He has given, and everything has an appointed time with Him." 

The burial rites are currently being conducted in Kafin Hausa town, following Islamic traditions. Abdulwahab is survived by his parents and several siblings
