President Bola Tinubu has lauded the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for its vital role in upholding Nigeria’s democracy, describing the commission as a cornerstone of the nation's electoral integrity.

Speaking at the official flag-off ceremony for the construction of INEC’s new national headquarters, Tinubu emphasized the importance of providing the electoral body with a structure befitting its national responsibilities.
