Tinubu, Obasanjo, Jonathan, and Babangida Grace IBB’s Autobiography Launch and Library Fundraiser

A historic gathering of Nigerian leaders took place in Abuja as former Head of State Ibrahim Babangida hosted the public presentation of his autobiography, A Journey in Service, alongside a fundraising event for the IBB Presidential Library.

The event saw the presence of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, former Presidents Olusegun Obasanjo and Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, alongside other dignitaries, business elites, and political figures. Their attendance underscored the significance of Babangida’s legacy and the importance of preserving Nigeria’s historical records through the library project.

The occasion was marked by reflections on Babangida’s years in leadership, as well as generous donations from prominent business moguls, including Aliko Dangote and Abdulsamad Rabiu. The book, which offers insights into Babangida’s journey in public service, is now available for purchase at major bookstores.
