Sowunmi Questions Credibility of Political Coalition Amid Wave of Defections

Segun Sowunmi, a prominent figure in the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and former spokesperson for Atiku Abubakar, has cast doubt on the strength of recent political coalitions, pointing to the continued defections by major figures.

“If these so-called coalitions are truly as solid as their backers claim, then why are key players abandoning them?” Sowunmi remarked.

 “People are beginning to recognize that the country may now revolve around just two genuine national parties, and no one wants to align with politicians who switch sides repeatedly.”
