Sowore Calls for Action on Seaking's Detention

In a recent statement, activist Omoyele Sowore urged Pastor E.A. Adeboye, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, to facilitate the prompt release of Olumide Ogunsanwo, also known as Seaking. Sowore emphasized that if Pastor Adeboye had no involvement in Ogunsanwo's arrest, immediate action should be taken to rectify the situation.

Reports indicate that Pastor Adeboye has denied petitioning the police for Ogunsanwo's arrest, seeking to clarify any misunderstandings among the public.

Sowore suggested that Pastor Adeboye should engage the church's legal team and representatives in Abuja to meet with DIG Dasuki Galandanchi of the Force Criminal Investigation Department (FCID).

He proposed that they work alongside Seaking's lawyers, including Inibehe Effiong, Tope Temokun, Marshal D.F. Abubakar, and Adeyanju Deji, to ensure Ogunsanwo’s swift release
