Senegal to Host New Mercedes Benz Truck Assembly Plant by 2026
Senegal is set to become a key hub for Mercedes Benz trucks with a new assembly plant scheduled to open by 2026 in the Diamniadio Industrial Park.
This initiative is a partnership between Daimler Truck, the Senegalese government, and Global Truck Systems (GTS).
The facility will initially focus on assembling military vehicles before expanding production to civilian trucks aimed at various industries.
