Senate Introduces Tax Reforms Bill, Urges Lawmakers to Scrutinize Proposals Thoroughly

The Senate Finance Committee today laid before the plenary a comprehensive Tax Reforms Bill aimed at overhauling Nigeria’s tax system. 

The bill marks a significant step in the government’s efforts to boost revenue and improve fiscal policy.

Following its presentation, Senate President Godswill Akpabio urged all senators to commit to a thorough, clause-by-clause examination of the proposed legislation between today and tomorrow.
