Russia Celebrates Successful Test of Nuclear Powered Cruise Missile

President Vladimir Putin has confirmed that Russia has carried out a successful trial of the Burevestnik a next generation, nuclear powered intercontinental cruise missile.

Military officials describe the system as capable of traveling extreme distances while maneuvering to bypass modern missile defense networks. 

The missile is also believed to be designed to carry a nuclear payload, reinforcing Russia’s strategic strike capabilities.
