Putin Announces Temporary Easter Ceasefire with Ukraine

Russian President Vladimir Putin has declared a temporary ceasefire with Ukraine, calling it an "Easter truce." 

The Kremlin announced that all military operations will be suspended from 6 p.m. today until Monday.

In a statement, the Russian government emphasized that this truce is motivated by humanitarian concerns, marking a brief period of peace for the Easter holiday. However, Russia has made it clear that while military actions will cease, its forces will remain on alert to counter any potential violations or provocations from Ukrainian forces.
