President William Ruto Takes Over as COMESA Chair

Kenya’s President William Ruto has been elected as the new Chairperson of the Common Market for Eastern and Southern Africa (COMESA) at the 24th Heads of State Summit in Nairobi.

 He succeeds Burundi’s President Évariste Ndayishimiye.
