President Tinubu Assures Nigerians: Your Sacrifices Are Valued

In a New Year's message, President Bola Tinubu emphasized to Nigerians that their sacrifices over the past 19 months have not been in vain and will continue to yield positive results in the months ahead. 

He expressed gratitude for the resilience and commitment of citizens as the nation works toward a brighter future.

During his address, the President announced the upcoming Youth Confab, set to begin in the first quarter of 2025. He stated, "The Youth Confab will be a testament to our commitment to youth inclusiveness and investment as nation-builders." The Ministry of Youth is expected to announce the selection process for representatives from Nigeria's diverse youth population soon.

Tinubu urged citizens to maintain their belief in themselves and their faith in the country. He called on governors and local council chairpersons to collaborate closely with the central government to capitalize on emerging opportunities in agriculture, livestock, and tax reforms, driving the nation forward.

He commended governors who have adopted innovative initiatives, such as the Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) initiative for public transport and the integration of electric vehicles into the national energy mix. The President assured that the Federal Government would continue to provide necessary support to the states.

"Together, let us stay the course of nation-building," Tinubu concluded. "The New Year will bring us closer to the bright future we all desire and the Nigeria of our dreams."
