Tanzania’s President Samia Suluhu Hassan is facing global criticism after reports emerged that several key positions in her government are now held by members of her own family. 

According to reports, the appointments raising concerns include her brother-in-law as Minister of Finance, her son-in-law as Minister of Health, her daughter as Deputy Minister of Education, and another daughter occupying a Special Seat in Parliament. Additionally, the Minister of Defence is reportedly a close family friend who helped arrange a family marriage, while the Deputy Minister of Works is her niece
