Portland Gas Unveils CNG Refill Station in Ojota, Lagos — A Step Towards Greener Energy Solutions

On Friday, February 28th, Portland Gas officially opened its state-of-the-art Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) refill station in Ojota, Lagos. 

The commissioning ceremony was led by the Governor of Lagos State, His Excellency Babajide Sanwo-Olu, marking a significant milestone in the state’s ongoing transition to cleaner and more sustainable energy sources.

The launch event attracted key players from the energy and transportation sectors, all underscoring their collective commitment to promoting affordable and environmentally friendly fueling options across Nigeria.

Portland Gas emphasized that the new CNG station is not just a business venture, but a bold statement in support of Nigeria’s green energy movement. By providing cost-effective alternatives to traditional fuels, the company aims to reduce carbon emissions, lower transportation costs, and ultimately improve air quality in Lagos and beyond.
