Presidential aide and APC chieftain Bayo Onanuga has stated that Labour Party’s Peter Obi will likely lose the passionate grassroots support he enjoyed in the 2023 elections if he chooses to align with former Vice President Atiku Abubakar in the 2027 race. 

According to Onanuga, the political landscape would shift significantly by then, and any Obi-Atiku alliance would not inspire the same enthusiasm among supporters.
