Paul Okoye Reacts to Brother Jude Okoye’s EFCC Arraignment, Hints at Hidden Agenda
Nigerian singer Paul Okoye (Rudeboy) has spoken out in support of his older brother, Jude Okoye, following his arraignment by the EFCC on money laundering charges.
Jude, alongside his company Northside Music Ltd, was arraigned on February 26, 2025, before Justice Alexander Owoeye of the Federal High Court in Ikoyi, Lagos. The EFCC is accusing him of allegedly laundering ₦1.38 billion, $1 million, and £34,537.59.
Paul Stands by His Brother
Reacting to the news, Paul took to social media with a message of support:
"This too shall pass. Stay strong, brother."
He also suggested that "someone" wanted this to happen, though he did not mention any names.
Peter Okoye’s Earlier Allegations
This development comes months after Peter Okoye (Mr. P), Paul’s twin brother, revealed that he had filed a petition with the EFCC against Jude. He alleged that Jude had secretly opened a company and was diverting funds from their joint business.
Jude, however, denied the allegations, stating that while they co-own a company, they each have their own private businesses—with Peter running P-Classic and Paul managing Rudeboy Record.
With Jude now facing official charges, many are wondering if this family feud played a role in his legal troubles. More details are expected to emerge as the case unfolds.
