Pastor Abel Damina, founder of Abel Damina Ministries International (ADMI), has strongly criticized Pastor David Ibiyeomie of Salvation Ministries for his recent claim that "Jesus hated poverty." 

Ibiyeomie made the controversial statement during a sermon, suggesting that Jesus avoided associating with poor people, implying that He despised poverty.

In a sermon titled In Christ Realities Season 5, Pastor Damina vehemently disagreed with Ibiyeomie's interpretation of scripture, calling it a misrepresentation and a misleading doctrine. He accused Ibiyeomie of distorting biblical teachings, describing the claim as not just an error but an insult to the Bible
