Oluremi Tinubu Attributes Rise in Human Trafficking to Social Media and "Get Rich Quick" Mentality

First Lady of Nigeria, Oluremi Tinubu, has linked the increase in human trafficking and child labor to the pervasive "get rich quick syndrome." 

During a meeting at the State House in Abuja with NAPTIP Director General Hajja Binta Lami Adamu Bello, she expressed her deep concern over the alarming rates of trafficking in Nigeria. 

Tinubu said a recent raid on a baby factory in Abuja, where 19 pregnant young girls were rescued, as a troubling indication of the growing crisis. 

She criticized the influence of social media and the film industry on youth, stating,

 "The get rich quick syndrome is not helping matters."
