Okeke Chinedu Tops 2025 JAMB with 375, But Faces Scrutiny Over Dual Admission

Okeke Chinedu emerged as the highest scorer in the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), recording an impressive 375. He was closely followed by Ayuba Simon-Peter with 374, while several other candidates, including Jimoh Abdulmalik, Roberts Damiete, and Ononugbo Chigozirim, all scored 373.

However, during a press briefing on Tuesday, the JAMB Registrar, Professor Ishaq Oloyede, raised concerns regarding Chinedu’s academic status. According to Oloyede, Chinedu had already been admitted into the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN) to study Medicine and Surgery four years ago and is currently performing well in the program.
