Oba Abimbola Owoade has officially been crowned the 46th Alaafin of Oyo in a grand ceremony that was attended by notable dignitaries, traditional leaders, and well-wishers.

 The coronation, which took place at the palace of Oyo, marks a significant moment in the history of the Oyo Kingdom. 

The new monarch received the royal insignia and vows to uphold the rich traditions of the Oyo Empire while fostering unity and development within the kingdom. His ascension to the throne follows the passing of the former Alaafin, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi III, and the ceremony was a celebration of the continuity of Oyo's royal lineage and cultural heritage.
