NiMet DG Charles Anosike Named Aviation Sector CEO of the Year 2024

Professor Charles Anosike, the Director General and Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMet), has been honored as the Aviation Sector CEO of the Year 2024 by Independent Newspapers Limited.

The award was presented during a prestigious ceremony at the Expo Convention Centre, Eko Hotels and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos, on March 15, 2025. Anosike was recognized for his proactive leadership and significant contributions to NiMet’s transformation within a short period.
