Nigerian Bar Association Drags Police Chief to Court Over Tinted Glass Permit Policy

The Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) has taken legal action against the Inspector General of Police, filing a suit at the Federal High Court to challenge the controversial tinted glass permit directive.

According to the association, the policy is unconstitutional and amounts to a violation of citizens fundamental rights. 

The NBA argues that restricting the use of vehicles with tinted windows through such permits has no legal backing and imposes unnecessary hardship on Nigerians.
