Manchester United Unveils $2.6 Billion Plan for a New Stadium
Manchester United has approved a bold $2.6 billion plan for a new 100,000-seat stadium, scheduled for completion by 2030.
The new arena will surpass Wembley as the largest football venue in Britain. Designed by renowned architect Norman Foster, the stadium will feature a striking 656-foot "trident" mast trio and a rain-harvesting umbrella roof, along with a massive plaza twice the size of Trafalgar Square.
