Man Defends Wizkid, Says Calling Him Lazy Is Disrespectful

A passionate fan has taken to social media to shut down claims that Wizkid is a lazy artiste, stating his impact on the Nigerian music industry.

According to him, Wizkid rose to fame at a time when the industry was dominated by heavyweight artists, yet he won awards and sold out his debut album without the advantage of streaming platforms.

 Back then, fans had to buy CDs to access music, making his success even more remarkable.

He also credited Wizkid for influencing the new generation of artists, noting that Davido was inspired by him, while Burna Boy once acknowledged Wizkid as the first person to support him in Lagos.
