Malawi’s newly elected President, Prof. Arthur Peter Mutharika, has announced the complete removal of school fees for both primary and secondary education beginning January 2026.
The policy aims to make education more accessible to all Malawian children, reduce the financial burden on families, and promote higher school enrollment across the country.
