Liam Payne’s £24M Estate Likely to Go to Son as Ex Cheryl Takes Over Administration
Liam Payne’s sudden death has left behind a £24 million legacy but no will. The 31-year-old former One Direction star tragically died on October 16 last year after falling from a hotel balcony in Argentina, following a night of heavy drinking and drug use.
According to court documents, Payne’s total estate was initially valued at £28.6 million but dropped to £24.3 million after settling outstanding debts and expenses. In the absence of a will, legal authority over the estate has been granted to his ex-partner Cheryl Tweedy, mother of their eight-year-old son, Bear.
